- Respond to the latest and loudest. Constantly be distracted by notifications. Allow interruptions. Leave things half finished. Be stressed. Say yes to everything. End every day burnt out and with a sense of how much of a mountain is still left on your many spinning plates. Make no progress long term. Look back with regret and forward with anxiety.
- Have a plan and stick to it. Say no to most things. Turn off notifications; turn off devices, even. Only be open for meetings and calls at certain times. Check your email on a schedule, for a limited amount of time. Be a finisher. End every day, week, month and year with a sense of what has been accomplished. Look back with gratitude and forward with vision.
