Last year, my good friend Dan Lank (a worship leader in West Sussex) approached me with a song idea he’d been working on. I straight away got hooked on the catchy chorus – “Come and see, come and see Emmanuel…” What a brilliant invitation to imagine and encounter again the wonderful truths of the Christmas story, I thought to myself. Somehow my enthusiasm got me a cowrite credit as we worked together to shape the rest of the song around this memorable chorus.
